I am Gaelle!
After travelling around the world, for about ten years, I settled in the UK and started working in a college five years ago. I have always been interested in Languages, and going to my French lessons at school was an absolute delight. I studied Languages in France until my BTEC Diploma of Higher Education, and then I started working in different countries. I think languages are so important; they allow you to meet many different people. After five years of teaching, I know I love this job and I cannot imagine myself to do something different. Meeting students and seeing them improve is so grateful. Also, having the challenge of making the grammar fun and understandable, I absolutely love it!

Hey there, lovely folks! I’m Ines.
I’m thrilled to be here, sharing my love for languages and teaching with all of you. Picture this: a 25-year-old bundle of zest and zeal, currently navigating the enchanting world of academia while spreading the joy of language learning.
My journey into the linguistic realm began nine years ago, when I embarked on a mesmerising cultural exchange in Chile. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of adventures—from teaching Italian to immigrant communities in Italy to arranging English classes amidst the vibrant hustle and bustle of China. And now? I’m soaking up the sun (and Spanish) in beautiful Spain while pursuing a Ph.D.
Let’s talk teaching. What do I teach? I teach Italian, Spanish and Chinese Mandarin. For me, it’s not just a job; it’s my calling. I see each student as a unique and precious gem waiting to sparkle. That’s why I infuse my lessons with boundless creativity, aiming to make learning an exhilarating journey filled with laughter and discovery. Whether we’re conjugating verbs or unravelling the mysteries of syntax, you can bet we’ll do it with a dash of light heartedness. So, buckle up, amigos! We’re about to embark on a linguistic adventure like no other.
Hi, I’m Martina!
I was born in Milan, and I have always had a passion for study and research. After obtaining a degree in law I became a qualified lawyer, and I pursued other professional paths, including legal counselling for immigrants and asylum seekers. It is precisely in this context that I began to develop my desire to spread culture and knowledge.
I volunteered as an Italian teacher for international students and today I conduct in-depth courses on Italian literature and professional development for international jurists.
For a long time, I was involved in qualitative research in the sociological, historical, and scientific fields, refining my analytical and communication skills.
My great passion has always been literature; since childhood, I have been an avid reader. Over the years I have specialised in specific genres, and I have had the privilege to collaborate with different publishing houses and bookstores, to present authors and titles, and to serve as an interpreter from English for some cultural events. I am currently supervising five reading laboratories.
Lately, I have been developing projects that promote artistic and historical culture by designing and providing educational services for schools and thematic paths for adults.
¡Hola! I’m Jesús.
My passion for languages since I was a teenager led me to study and specialise in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. After more than ten years of teaching and learning from students in both the UK and my native Spain, my passion remains stronger than ever.
I am very enthusiastic about teaching, and spend my time tailoring classes and activities, helping learners achieve milestones, and seeing my students can gain confidence in their language ability. The best part? All of this can be done in an engaging and entertaining way! We all have our interests and like to talk about them, why not learn to do so in Spanish?
My name is Estefania, but everyone calls me Stef.
I am from Argentina, but have lived in the UK for four years. I learnt English as a child, and I have always been passionate about languages, travelling and living abroad to get to know other people and their cultures.
In 2021, I graduated as a Spanish teacher for non-native learners at the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain, and I can’t wait to start sharing my language and culture with anyone willing to learn. I am convinced that being able to communicate in another language is one of the most rewarding experiences in life.
¡Hasta pronto!
Hey guys I’m Shanice and I was born in Germany, with Nigerian roots.
I spent most of my life raised in Ireland before moving to the Netherlands at the age of 17. Languages have always fascinated me, as I was required to learn Irish, German, English (native speaker), and Japanese. Alongside my linguistic pursuits, I developed a deep interest in the sciences, particularly biology and neuroscience.
My academic journey at the University of Maastricht has been both diverse and enriching, thanks to their Maastricht Science Programme. This allowed me to tailor my studies, leading me to specialize in Regenerative Medicine while exploring various fields within biology and neuroscience. From molecular biology to molecular toxicology and neuropsychopharmacology, my undergraduate studies were a broad exploration of the natural sciences.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science at the same university, deepening my knowledge and research skills. Outside of academia, I have a passion for DJing, which allows me to express my creative side and connect with diverse audiences in the Netherlands and Belgium.
If you’re seeking guidance in biology, German or an introduction to the fascinating world of neuroscience, I’m here to offer my knowledge and experiences. My aim is to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience, drawing from my diverse academic and personal background. I can offer tutoring in Biology and Neuroscience until Bachelor level. Let’s make learning both enlightening and enjoyable.
